Thomas de Pourquery's music veers between dance, trance, mystical ritual, spiritual ode and song, with a seductive hint of acid pop thrown in for good measure. Clearly, if this music is rooted in the earth, sometimes even in its foundations, if it aspires to anchor us to the ground, to make our legs move, it also knows how to make us leap, even fly, and sometimes very high. It's capable of pulling us skywards, to the dream side, to the cosmic, ecstatic, hypnotic and meditative side. We meet Thomas de Pourquery, saxophonist, singer and bandleader of the Supersonic group for the past ten years, on the occasion of the Malguénac festival and in partnership with Radio Bro Gwened.
