Diving into Olivier Mellano's artistic universe is guaranteed to make you dizzy. Indeed, this musician has never ceased to accumulate experience with numerous groups, some fifty to date, covering a vast stylistic spectrum from rock and pop to electro, hip-hop and chanson. His collaborations range from Korean metal band Jambinaï to the distinctive voices of Elise Caron, Brendan Perry, John Greaves, G.W. Sok and rapper MC Dälek. Olivier Mellano tries his hand at everything, with the clearly avowed intention of "dissolving all aesthetic hierarchies": music for theater, dance, cinema, cine-concert, radio, literature, improvisation, solo, in duo, with actors or writers, shows, forays into the world of written music, etc. Not to mention writing books. Not to mention writing books...
