Diving into Olivier Mellano's artistic universe is the assurance of being taken by a great vertigo. Indeed, this musician has never ceased to accumulate experiences with numerous groups, about fifty to date, covering a vast stylistic panel from rock and pop to electro, hip-hop and song. His collaborations range from the Korean metal band Jambinaï to the characteristic voices of Elise Caron, Brendan Perry, John Greaves, G.W. Sok or the rapper MC Dälek. Olivier Mellano tries his hand at everything with the clearly stated intention of "dissolving all aesthetic hierarchies": music for theater, dance, cinema, film-concert, radio, literature, improvisation, solo, in duet, with actors or writers, shows, forays into the world of written music, etc. Not to mention the writing of books...
