Vincent MalassisBuried memories

Sound Portraits 28.07.2021

We live in an age of transversality. We can listen to anything, crossing ever-slimmer borders between cultures whose basic trend is, in any case, towards cross-fertilization: a globalized cross-fertilization between historical periods, between languages, between styles and artistic families, between practices too (video, music, theater, dance, visual arts, installations...), and between what was still called, not so long ago, the "popular" and the "learned".

We are delighted to welcome Vincent MalassisVincent Malassis is a multi-faceted, multi-talented artist, a perfect representative of this cross-disciplinary approach. DJ, liver, but also photographer and visual artist, Vincent Malassis creates performances and records between ambient, musique concrète and electroacoustic music, as well as techno and hip-hop, in his singular approach to the turntables.
